filed in News, Prints, Richard Goodall Gallery, Thomas St on Sep.02, 2009
Inspired by urban life in New York City, Justin Bua’s work is the result of a lifetime’s fascination with the vibrant street-life of that iconic city. Bua effortlessly combines classical art training with his own unique style – known as Distorted Urban Realism – to reveal the essence of urban life in NYC.
Bua began his artistic career in commercial art after studying illustration at the Art Centre College of Design in California. Having supplemented his formal education with street graffiti and break-dancing, Bua went on to design everything from skateboards to advertising campaigns. Currently teaching figure drawing at the University of Southern California, Bua remains an innovative driving force in both commercial and fine art arenas with a worldwide fan base.

Infinitely collectible and just-plain-fantastic, Bua’s work is available now at Richard Goodall Gallery and at www.richardgoodallgallery.com
