Jason Munn founded The Small Stakes in 2003 after his posters became local fixtures in the local independent music scene. Working out of Oakland, California, this independent design studio produces an eclectic collection of print materials including album packaging, t-shirt designs, book covers, illustrations and, of course, incredible screen-printed posters. Given that Munn’s work is part of the permanent collection at San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, it’s no surprise that this awesome opus of music posters, modestly titled The Small Stakes: Music Posters, is now available.

Naturally, we had to get Mr Munn over here to humble us with his poster-genius presence. So, come the autumn, The Small Stakes will be here to partake in a book-signing event at our Thomas Street Gallery!
