San Marino based painter Nicoletta Ceccoli makes her much anticipated UK debut at the Richard Goodall Gallery with her largest solo show to date, having previously exhibited in sold out shows across America and Europe. Nicoletta began her career as a children’s book illustrator.In 2001 she won the prestigious Anderson prize for best illustrator of the year and in 2006 she was awarded the silver medal from the New York Society of Illustrators in recognition of her work.She is constantly in demand in the literary world so her time for painting is limited, much to the disappointment of her many fans who crave her original pieces. For this reason we are particularly proud to be hosting this exceptional show of original works.
2009 will see the publication of Nicoletta’s first book of her paintings and drawings, and also the screening of a documentary about her on French TV
