David Choe, painter, avant-provocateur, and former resident of a Japanese prison cell is the cover story for Juxtapoz' January 2007 issue. Also featured is Tara McPherson, photographer Jack Butler, political painter Mark Bryan, oil painter and goth-child David Stoupakis, Chinese painter Zhi Lin, and the photography of Piper Ferguson. The shows of Jeff Soto, Sam Flores, and Roger Corman are also featured. January 2007 also saw the introduction of a special subscriber-only cover, void of all things that would block the art itself.
