| Lunartik Tea Cup vinyl Signing Dec 12 |

Matt Jones’ debut vinyl toy, ‘Lunartik in a Cup of Tea’ is going global with the international Custom Tea Tour. Having teamed up with 24 artists to produce a mind-boggling range of custom cups of tea, the tour is headed to nine locations – one of which, you might’ve guessed, is the Richard Goodall Gallery on Thomas Street, Manchester.
Not only will you have the chance to get your hands on a signed Earl Grey (available only at www.lunartik.com or as part of this tour) or a limited edition shirt there’ll also be the opportunity to see original resin sculpts, silicon casts, and Matt’s 2006 sketch books. Artists contributing to this spectacular ensemble include Kenn Munk, Woolloomooloo, TADO, Mr Scruff, Pete Fowler, Sichi, ILoveDust, Okkle and lots more!
As if all this excitement weren’t enough, Matt and Doktor A will be in real-life attendance at Richard Goodall Gallery on Saturday 12th December to sign cups, flyers or foreheads (depending on your mood).
Special Guest artists have been asked to customise cups along each leg of the tour. So when we will finally be finishing the tour in mid 2010, we will have over 30 custom toys which will be auctioned off to a well deserving charity and we're proudly going to launch the next series of Lunartik Vinyl Toys!
Toy Signings:
Matt JOnes will be appearing for one day only, on hand to sign and chat and generally scribble in your sketch books and answer questions regarding custom toys, tea and art. At the end of the tour in 2010, the custom teas will be put into an auction house to raise money for charity. And we're having a the tea tour end with a Tea Party.
